Welcome to autohub.ke. These Terms of Service
(the “Terms “) are a binding legal agreement between you and autohub.ke Inc. (“Autohub” or "we", "us",
“our”), regarding your use of the autohub.ke website and services at autohub.ke (the website, services,
and products purchased are collectively referred to as the “Service“).
We may periodically make changes to these Terms. By accessing or using the Service, you accept this
Agreement and any modifications that we may make to the Agreement. It is your responsibility to review the
most recent version of the Terms frequently and remain informed of any changes to it.
The Terms Of Use spells out your relationship with Autohub and the terms and conditions under which
Autohub offers you access to our services.
The information is provided by Autohub and whilst we endeavour to keep the information up-to-date and
correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness,
accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products,
services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such
information is therefore strictly at your own risk.
In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or
consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising or in connection with the wrongly
installed or fitted the parts purchased. We strongly advise that all automotive parts shall be installed by
qualified mechanics only.
Through this website, you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of
Autohub. We have no control over the content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links
does not necessarily imply liability expressed within them.
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Autohub takes no
responsibility for and will not be liable for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical
issues beyond our control.
We try to keep Autohub and its sites, services, applications, and tools safe, secure, and functioning
properly. You acknowledge that we cannot guarantee the continuous operation of or access to our sites,
services, applications, or tools. You further acknowledge that operation of and access to our sites,
services, applications, or tools may be interfered with as a result of technical issues or numerous factors
outside of our control. Stock availability updates pricing and other notification functionality in
Autohub applications may not occur in real time. Such functionality is subject to delays including,
without limitation, delays, or latency due to your physical location or your wireless data service
provider’s network. You agree that you are making use of our sites, services, applications, and tools at
your own risk and that they are being provided to you on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
In addition, we are not liable and you agree not to hold Autohub responsible, for any damages or
losses (including, but not limited to, loss of money, goodwill or reputation, profits, or other intangible
losses or any special, indirect, or consequential damages) resulting directly or indirectly from
cancellation of your order by Autohub due to technical reasons or an error in stock allocation or price
error or else, in our system and by our system
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless autohub.ke, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their
respective directors, officers, agents, employees, licensors, and suppliers from and against any costs,
damages, expenses, and liabilities arising out of or related to your use of the Service or products sold on
Autohub, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party. Autohub
strongly advice that all automotive parts have to be installed by qualified mechanics
Placing an order
Hunting for a specific auto part in a catalog can
take time. If you know our part number you can use “Key Your Part No Here:” Or you can find the right
product in our product catalogs “Brakes” “Filters” “Belts” where you can narrow down your part selection by
make and model of your car.
Still, can't find the part you're looking for sending us a request by “Can't Find your part?” Just give
us the name of the part and car model and our help team will respond you within 24 hours
To ensure you're making the correct parts purchase, our system will provide you with the image and
details of the product you've just selected, along with your specified quantity and the total amount due
(including its shipping fees). Please take a note that greater you purchase or combine order will actually
decrease your shipping cost and will even become FREE SHIPPING try to increase your quantity to see a
result. If everything is in order, fill out the Billing, Shipping & Payment form to finalize your
orders.
Large Orders
For large orders shipment by FCL / LCL by sea freight or air cargo can be arranged, quotation will be made on your request with our part numbers and quantity you requested to order, our support team will respond to your request within 24 hours
Cancellation or amendment of Order by You
If you discover that you have made a mistake with
your Order after you have submitted it to the Site, please send us feedback immediately. We will make a
great effort to assist you however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to amend your Order in
accordance with your new instructions
If you wish to cancel your order please contact us by feedback. No cancellation fees apply. Once an
order has been dispatched it may not be cancelled and the item must instead be returned to
Autohub.
What if the parts I purchase from autohub.ke turns out the item doesn’t fit?
If you purchase a wrong part you can return the part for credit, exchange or refund. As long as you return a part within 30 days and without any damage or without any missing components, then you will be eligible for a credit, exchange or refund on your return. The choice is yours! Refund will be made accordingly purchased invoice in the same currency, exchange gain or loss may be expected if your PayPal account or credit card in other then our invoice currency.
RETURN PROCEDURE
If you purchase a wrong part or for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can return the part for a refund. As long as you return a part within 30 days of delivery of your order and without any damage or without any missing components, then you will be eligible for a refund on your return. Shipping Fees are non-refundable. Refund will be made accordingly purchased invoice in the same currency, exchange gain or loss may be expected if your Paypal account or credit card in other then our invoice currency. The following rules apply:
- Products must be in original packaging and in a new and resalable condition.
- Any product that was used or fully/partially installed is non-returnable.
- All returns must be made via our Return Procedure with a valid RMA form.
After we receive your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order (Credit Card, PayPal or Check). The refund amount will be composed of the original purchase price minus shipping charges. You will be sent an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.
To return a product you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). The RMA form will include an exact return address and detailed instructions on how to return a product. You may request an RMA using the following methods:

Cancellation Order by Autohub
We try very hard to ensure that the price and
stock given is accurate but we reserve the right to cancel an order at our discretion in case of an error is
discovered, or product is not available for any reason
We will notify you if this is the case and return any payment that you have made or you can choose to
order any other products from our inventory. Choice is yours
Shipping
autohub.ke will make every reasonable effort
ship out on the same or next business day you have placed your order and to deliver customers' shipments
according to Autohub delivery schedules; however, these are not, however guaranteed and do not form part
of these Terms and Conditions. Autohub is not liable for any delays and is not responsible for the
consequences of a failure to deliver by a stipulated time. Delivery time based on estimated delivery time
provided by the couriers: DHL, FEDEX, UPS, Speed Post.
At Autohub, our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your products. If, for whatever
reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you have the option of exchanging the item(s) or receiving
a refund for the full amount of the item purchased. Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same
payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. If payment was made by credit card, once we receive the
product we will credit your account. Please allow 7-10 days for a credit to appear on your credit card
statement. You can return items purchased to Autohub within 30 days of purchase date. Claims for missing
items or items damaged in transit must be received within five business days of receipt of merchandise
Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is
used and shared. We would like our customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border
shipments in some cases are subject to opening and inspection by customs and/or postal authorities. Also, we
may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers,
and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs and/or postal authorities in order to
facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
Customs authorities require the value of the item to be stated directly on the package.
Items being shipped outside Kenya will be subject to import duties, taxes, and tariffs as imposed by
the country the product is being imported to. The customer (the person importing the product) is responsible
for paying the import duties and taxes incurred by customs when the product reaches the country of
destination. Autohub is not responsible for any duties, taxes, or tariffs incurred by the importation of
products into countries other than Kenya. The customer is responsible for paying all duties, taxes, and
tariffs as billed by the courier and imposed by the customs and import department of their respective
country
Shipping/Order Processing Days, Times
Our normal shipping and order processing days are Monday through Friday. No orders are processed or delivered on Saturday, Sunday, or major holidays. If you place an order on Friday after 1 PM, {UTC+3} your order will be shipped on Monday, as Saturday and Sunday do not count as shipping days.
Account Registration
You may register for and maintain an account to access additional features available to End Users (Car owners) and Mechanics (Corporate accounts), such as stock request, or additional bonus program based on your orders performance or posting feedbacks and receiving news on ongoing or future promotions. When you register, you agree to (a) provide accurate, current and complete information about you as may be prompted by registration forms on the Service (“Registration Data”); (b) maintain the security of any logins, passwords, or other credentials that you select or that are provided to you for use on the Service; and (c) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data, and any other information you provide to autohub.ke, and to keep all such information accurate, current, and complete. You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Your Personal Information
You can see, review and change most of your personal information by signing on to autohub.ke. You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your personal information from view as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We do retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our autohub.ke User Agreement, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.
Account Protection
Your password is the key to your account. Use unique numbers, letters and special characters, and do not disclose your autohub.ke password to anyone. If you do share your password or your personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal and corporate information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify autohub.ke and change your password
We may also share your personal information with:
Members of autohub.ke corporate family to
provide joint content and services (like registration, transactions and customer support), to help detect
and prevent potentially illegal acts and violations of our policies, and to guide decisions about their
products, services and communications. Members of our corporate family will use this information to send you
marketing communications only if you’ve requested our services.
• Service providers under contract who help with our business operations (such as fraud investigations,
bill collection, affiliate and rewards programs).
• Law enforcement or other governmental officials, in
response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity. In such
events, we will disclose information relevant to the investigation, such as name, city, postal code,
telephone number, email address, User ID history, IP address, fraud complaints, and billing and another
history.
• Other business entities, should we plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity.
(Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follows this privacy policy
with respect to your personal information. If your personal information will be used contrary to this
policy, you will receive prior notice.)
Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy
and our ability to keep transactions free from bad actors, we will not otherwise disclose your personal
information to law enforcement, other government officials, or other third parties without a subpoena, court
order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of
information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss or to report suspected illegal
activity.
Security
Your information is stored on our servers located in the Republic of Kenya. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use lots of tools (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. However, as you probably know, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from the site. Therefore, although we work very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.
Our Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose personal information to respond to legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of others, or protect anyone's rights, property, or safety. Such information will be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
A suspension or other action is taken with respect to your account;
Your need to modify practices, content, or
behaviour or your loss of or inability to do business, as a result of changes to this User Agreement or our
policies; Autohub reserves the right to modify its policies and this User Agreement at any time
consistent with the provisions outlined herein.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimer of warranties or exclusion of damages, so such
disclaimers and exclusions may not apply to you
Copyright and Limited License
The Service and all information, data, and other
content and materials available on the Service, including, without limitation, the autohub.ke logo and all
designs, text, documents, graphics, software, videos, sound files, other files, and the selection and
arrangement thereof (collectively, “Content”), are the proprietary property of autohub.ke and its
suppliers and licensors and are protected by Kenya and international copyright laws.
If you comply with all the terms and conditions of these Terms, autohub.ke grants you a limited,
personal, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to access the Service and to electronically
copy (except where prohibited without a license) and print to hard copy portions of the Content for your
personal, and non-commercial purposes only. The Service is for your personal use and not for resale or
further distribution. This license is revocable at any time.
Except as otherwise explicitly provided in this Agreement or as may be expressly permitted by applicable
law, you will not, and will not permit or authorize third parties to reproduce, modify, translate, enhance,
decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service; rent, lease, or
sublicense access to the Service; nor circumvent or disable any security or technological features or
measures of the Service.
Trademarks
Autohub, the autohub.ke logo, and any other product or service name or slogan contained on the autohub.ke and in any Content, are trademarks of autohub.ke and its suppliers or partners or licensors, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Autohub or the applicable trademark holder. All other trademarks, registered trademarks, product names and company names or logos mentioned on the Service or in any Content are the property of their respective owners. Reference to any products, services, processes or other information, by trade name, trademark, manufacturer, supplier or otherwise, does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation thereof by autohub.ke.
Third-Party Content
The Service may contain links to Web pages and
content of third parties (“Third-Party Content”) as a service to those interested in this information.
autohub.ke does not monitor, endorse, or adopt, or have any control over, any Third-Party Content.
autohub.ke undertakes no responsibility to update or review any Third-Party Content and can make no
guarantee as to its accuracy or completeness.
Additionally, if you follow a link or otherwise navigate away from the Service, please be aware that
these Terms will no longer govern. You should review the applicable terms and policies, including privacy
and data gathering practices, of any Websites or Third-Party Content to which you navigate from the Service.
You access and use Third-Party Content at your own risk.
The Service may contain advertisements and promotions from third parties. Your business dealings or
correspondence with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers other than autohub.ke, and any terms,
conditions, warranties, or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such
third party.
